With weather patterns changing and more extreme weather expected to be striking in the coming months, the probability of longer tours is a stark reality many of us will have to accept.
Whether it’s a 24, 36, or 48 hour tour, one of the biggest challenges for those of us who work in urban systems without the convenience of a station is the ability to take a shower. Klenz has provided a solution to the acute lack of facilities those of us who post on street corners face with their Klenz XXL Shower In A Towel. The product is a pre-moistened towel that is a whopping 2 feet by 4 feet big. The towel is both fragrance and alcohol free while also being bio degradable.
I was able to get a sample so decided to put it to the test by not showering Saturday morning. Instead, I used the Klenz XXL Shower In A Towel before leaving the hotel to board a packed Jet Blue aircraft for a 5 hour flight. I found the towel to be both sturdy and refreshing during and after use. There was no sticky residue and after washing up I was dry easily within 30 seconds. Most importantly as far as I could tell, I didn’t stink. My only issue was that about 12 hours in, after landing, my head seemed to itch a bit from a drier than usual scalp. This may have been simply from the environment I was in or the fact I only gave it a once over. Perhaps the hair needs to get it worked into a bit more like shampoo which I’ll keep in mind for next time.
Yes, I was really that satisfied that there most certainly will be a next time. Look for that during Blizzageddon 2012.
