I love parties. More specifically I love the hors d’oeuvres usually served at parties. I’m a sucker for piggies in blankets to be totally honest.
But parties are special occasions and are not necessarily going to happen at the frequency I would want them to… just like EMS Week. So to fill my cravings for those little wieners wrapped in dough, I have the ability to make them at home anytime I want using the tools in my kitchen. While it isn’t necessarily possible to serve breakfast every morning of the year or hold award banquets every Saturday night, we can still recognize our responders and celebrate their victories using the tools of Social Media.
I know some agency leaders are going to say they recognize their responders for the work they do not just during EMS Week, but all year long.
